GHANA: Eletronic Cargo Tracking Note implemenation
The CTN Process and supply of information on the website https://www.ctnghana.com/ is the responsibility of the Shipper, Exporter or Forwarder at the Port of Loading.
CTN number will have to be mentioned on the BL and on the manifest. It covers commercial Cargo & Aid Cargo.

Duration
Phase I: implementation in March 01.2018 for Asia & India Sub-continent.
Phase II: implementation in April 01.2018 for Europe, America & rest of the world

Impact
- All import shipment by sea will need to have a CTN reference on the BL and Manifest
- Without such CTN import clearing will not be possible

Reactive action plan
Secure CTN number before shipment:
- Provide shipment information and cargo details
- Upload supporting documents
- Generate CTN
- Validate CTN
